my poor hewitt lost! boohoo but its ok! there's still next year and the next next year and the year after next next year and the year after the year after the next next year.... oh u get the picture!

somehow i seem to think that Hewitt plays better when he's playing for his country than for himself, like in Davis Cup, World Group etc.. he will be unbeatable, but not so much for himself... i mean he's still good, but not as good as the form he's in when he plays for his country.

let's see the match.... fabulous match... i've never got so excited abt any match 'cept for the time when Hewitt played Roddick in the French and US Open and the Agassi-Sampras match at the US Open 2 years back.

ok back to the match... Hewitt got off to a fantastic start breaking Federer's serve in the very first game and went on to win 6-4. Federer was really off his game and Hewitt was not at his peak too but better than Federer anyway.

2nd set, Federer was still off his game but starting to pick up the pieces. was leading 3-2 on Hewitt's serve when Hewitt hit an ace but was called for a footfault at game point by a stupid linesman, i'm being objective here 'cos it obviously wasnt a footfault if u see the replay...even the commentators said so... so there u go... and i think that got to him a little and he lost that service game to Federer. and Federer just pick it up from there playing an almost flawless game, plus a little help from Hewitt lapsed of concentration as well. he wasnt running for the balls as much as he could have but i doubt he could have gotten to most cos fedeer was unbelievable. but he made a couple of fantastic defensive shots which no one else would have been able to do so. and he saved 2 match points before conceding the match to federer. still unable to beat Magnus Norman who saved 17! match points before losing to Gustavo Kurten at the French Open

all in all it was a good match... i was like jumping about in my seat every 5 mins. anywya Roddick-Safin match later! should be a good one too! ah! the beauty of tennis, where every shot is like a masterpiece...well almost every

one thing i like abt the Australian crowd is that they appreciate good tennis, and not just blind one sided support of their countrymen. i so cant wait to go to the Aus Open.. soon!!! supposed to go this year but..... well u know... oh well!

"One Art"

The art of losing isn't hard to master;
So many things seem filled with the intent
To be lost that their loss is no disaster.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost keys, the hour badlly spent
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

I lost my mother's watch. And look! my last, or
next-to-last, of three loved houses went.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster,
some realms I owne, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster.

-Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan't have lied. It's evident
the art of losing's not too hard to master
though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster.

-Elizabeth Bishop
