hey! alright here are my posts....the first one is either on the 1st 2nd or 3rd day....
HEY!
i'll post this once i get net access.....
im staying at the service apartment now...for a few days with my mom....its.......COLD!
the weather's considered fine by MELB standards but its cold cold cold! its freaking cold!my hands are freezing now and i cant type very fast. why im even having a brain freeze now...
met up with rui fen yest and today... went shopping! i've got a new pair of boots(flat ones!)a new jacket(so pretty!) and err... a new pair of gloves? my mom bought it for me and well she forced me to wear it cos it was really cold and windy today....
which reminds me...
the aussies are
NUTS!
its so freaking cold and some of them are wearing shorts and t shirts(only!) and some other little things they call clothes...well some are as overdressed as me but still! they are nuts!
i refused to get out of bed this morning cos its so warm under the blanket and its such a chore to step into the bathroom to bathe and brush ur teeth and do whatever other business u have in there....the floor tiles are coldthe toilet seat is coldthe door is coldmy toothbrush is coldmy contact lenses' solutions are coldand the stupid freaking light is faulty!and u'll have to turn on both taps(hot and cold) at the same time so u dun burn and freeze urself...at the same time!
ok...enough bout that....
the place is well not bad...other than it being cold.....the food's pretty cheap so im gonna eat a lot from now on...but won't be putting on much weight cos i have been walking a lot tooa walk to the heart of the city is almost 1/2 hour...the legs are aching now from all the walking...and still suffering from jetlag...well mainly the waking up part....10am here is still 8am there! i'll still be in dreamland!
went to i-dunno-wat-that-place-is today and everything's so so cheap! there are factory outlets...nike, adidas etcwould have spend more but well i've still got 4 years here! so plenty of time...
anyway thanks u guys who came to send me off...
im so gonna miss everyone in sg...im missing the weather already! im not missing being pampered by my parents yet cos my mom's still here with mebut yeah...i miss the food too!!!!
Xiu/Nyd/Tar/Lai and some others....oh and Bren-hahathanks for the box! i dropped it at the airport and the contents fell out.. -_-"also had a lot of ppl looking at me cos i looked like an idiot carrying it with 2 heavy bags on my shoulderand a lady commenting to her baby that it was a nice polka dot box(her baby was staring at it...)haha but thanks so much for everything!!! thank u tar for the book, nyd and lai for the irish accent thingy and xiu for the cd, and all ur cards!and yeah thanks lai for the album! must have took u ages to cut all the pics!
now to bring back the box....hmmm

watching CSI now....
just saw my room for the next few months here this morning. not too bad...its small but neat.and the heater works! ahhh...the little joys in life! and i'll be getting my net connection soon

but anyway, how's everyone?
oh and nyd, u aren't missing out on anything....the cute guys are only there for the first day or 2...after that, u get the well not that good looking guys...hahabut yeah i'll still set up a match making club for u soon!
just enrolled for my course today...will be doing Introduction to M&C, Contemporary Culture & Everyday life, Classical Mythology and Social, Develop. & Clinical Psychology 1should be quite interesting but i'll be checking out some other courses...these are just tentatives
the weather's still cold....cold cold cold!but its ok...im getting used to it but still hate going to the toilets!
