ok done with the call.... i miss my parents! boohoo....

oh yeah we had High Table just now....which is like a formal dinner...well pretty formal...which we will have every mondays and tuesdays.....

and its really amusing 'cos all of us hafta wear robes..... and it looks like a scene out of Harry Potter...we took some pictures after that so i'll try to post it up soon..... but the robes are kinda irritating cos the sleeves are huge so when u reach forward to get ur food, the sleeves will eat ur food too...

.......

but cos its not a very formal dinner, u'll get ppl wering like shorts and t-shirts and flip-flops(i did!) underneath the robes so its quite funny actually.....

oh well....i'm still deciding if i should stay on for another term...... we'll see how it goes...

"One Art"

The art of losing isn't hard to master;
So many things seem filled with the intent
To be lost that their loss is no disaster.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost keys, the hour badlly spent
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

I lost my mother's watch. And look! my last, or
next-to-last, of three loved houses went.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster,
some realms I owne, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster.

-Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan't have lied. It's evident
the art of losing's not too hard to master
though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster.

-Elizabeth Bishop
