ok so here i am about to write about my trip...still havent got the pics yet but i will soon...once my frens get their net back.....
so we took a drive up to apollo bay which is 3hrs away from the city and along the Great Ocean Road which was gorgeous. and on the way back, it was night time and it was even more magnificent 'cos there was no light and all u see were cliffs and water and waves and the moon reflecting on the water. awesome! just getting in touch with my nature side.... but i still hate lizards....
yeah ok apollo bay. the guys rented this house which has a panoramic view of the place...and on one side u just see moutains and the sea...again, nothing can decribe it... and u see the little houses below the mountains/hills watever... its so beautiful. happened to wake up early, by luck considering i usually wake up at 11.30 or later...so i woke at 8 that day way past the sun rise hour but it was still good... oh yeah apollo bay is this really really small coastal town the population is like err 3000 or smth...cant remember wat the guy said but it was ard there....
oh and we went for the glow worm tour... really misleading cos me and another fren thought we were gonna go see fireflies but its not...they are actually the eggs of some insect that lives along the banks in the forest. but they move...ok i dunno..not the animal person... jacq shd know... jacq! yoohoo!! lizard girl! are u still reading this??
so yeah we went hiking at night into the forest just to see them...they do glow... and can u imagine walking through a forest at night! they provided us with torches but they are really dim..well not dim but a different kinda light so that it doesnt harm the worms... sidetrack a lil... but yeah at some parts we cant on the lights at all so we were literally walking in darkness... no streetlights or anything of any kind just pure moonlight. but the worms were nice..not much but good..and they form webs like spiders but their webs looked like crystals...and i dun mean they shine like one...we got to look at it up close..its really small so we had to squint and they looked just like little chains of necklaces or bracelets...u get the idea...
real good experience but not worth the 30 bucks though if it was like 20 it would be well worth it.... oh and we got to see Venus and Scorpio..stars... could have seen the milky way if it wasnt as cloudy but i did see the milky way the next night though it wasnt as clear cos it was back at the town by then and there were lights ard...
and then..wat else did i do... oh me and jane went to the beach b4 brekkies and it was nice too...clean, unpolluted by waste, breakwaters of any kind, ships, houses or watever sorts... it was just mountains, water and sky...hardly any people too... well there were but it was so huge the place that it didnt matter... st kilda is nice but this is phwoar....went st kilda after tt and it reminded me of sentosa though its still like 20 times better than sentosa... the sand is like spotless...hardly any foodprints or rubbish or shells or weeds or anything
and then we went to see the 12 apostles.. great view again but nothing much else there to do...im not saying its bad...just tt its only a viewing place there's no other activities to do.... oh but i really wanted to take the copter ride to view it from the sky but its freaking 80 bucks so forget it man! im dead broke now...
so yeah spent 2 days there...oh and there was a jacuzzi at teh house which me and jane jumped into..muaahhahaha...really fun...
oh yeah and i went for the SSS ball before the hols...eh its singapore smth smth... its 4 unis combine, monash, melb, rmit and ehhh la trobe? k not sure...but yeah i saw songyu there!*surprise surprise!* it was ok la...
they had this game, where we had to check under our seats to see if there was a card underneath (ok smth wrong with the sentence) and if the person's got one he or she had to play the game and lucky ME got the freaking card! at least we didnt have to do anyhing stupid... did i mention they only have one card on each table! blah.. and there were no cute guys! boohooohooohooohooohooohoooo...all the dressing up foor nth eh.... haha but thanks dawn for the skirt!
so yeah tts wat i have been up to other then being killed by assignments..piles of them....

"One Art"
The art of losing isn't hard to master;
So many things seem filled with the intent
To be lost that their loss is no disaster.
Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost keys, the hour badlly spent
The art of losing isn't hard to master.
Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.
I lost my mother's watch. And look! my last, or
next-to-last, of three loved houses went.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.
I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster,
some realms I owne, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster.
-Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan't have lied. It's evident
the art of losing's not too hard to master
though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster.
