I should be sleeping but I decided to just do a quick post b4 i do, since i have been more hardworking recently.... (not blogging but doing work so this is sort of a reward...me blogging).

im not gonna write abt my mornington trip as yet since 1) it takes too much time to upload the pics and 2) xin yan hasnt sent me her pics yet n she has more than i do....

so anyway i was doing research for my final project for Net Communications (it sucks). so since i am going to do on blogs, i was browsing through technorati's list of the top 100 blogs. And i found that xiaxue's blog... u know the sgrean... who's famous for erm her blog... which was, if i remember correctly, at number 73. that was the highest sg blog obviously and the weird part was, it was ranked higher than Pink is the New Blog!

This is obviously pretty impressive for a sg blogger. And even more impressive IMHO cos I didn't think her writing was all tt worth reading. Now tt's pretty bias on my part i admit since i have a knack for not liking certain ppl from the way they present themselves n subsequently dismiss them as if they are imbeciles. And so I have never visited her site...not once...until last night when i decided to go check her blog out just to see wat's the fuss abt her tt warrant a spot on technorati's top 100 (technorati is a major blog search engine btw)

so yeah, much as i hate to admit, she's a pretty good writer...she knows wat it takes to write a good post and watsoever... i still think she is goddam bloody lian, but well, she's a smart one nevertheless... though she could do with a bit of growing up in terms of her thinking... still not a fan of hers. oh she's from rv... this much i just found out...

so yeah i guess im pretty much already advertising for her (damn!) by raising awareness of her blog to whoever reads my blog (most of whom I suspect have never heard of her somehow...)... i wouldnt recommend it per say..but if u want some entertainment n mindless rantings u may go there... i prob wont visit it again but well, some ppl find her amusing....

nitey nites my loves!

"One Art"

The art of losing isn't hard to master;
So many things seem filled with the intent
To be lost that their loss is no disaster.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost keys, the hour badlly spent
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

I lost my mother's watch. And look! my last, or
next-to-last, of three loved houses went.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster,
some realms I owne, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster.

-Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan't have lied. It's evident
the art of losing's not too hard to master
though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster.

-Elizabeth Bishop
